Organisers of the European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards (ECCCSAs) are delighted to announce that the competition for finding the best operations in Europe has started. When the nomination window closed on Friday, organisations from 17 countries had entered and there had been an increase of 39% in the total number of entries.
Ann-Marie Stagg, Chair of the Judges for the ECCCSAs said,
“It is clear that organisations have been working hard over the last 12 months to deliver some great customer experiences,”
“From early observations, we have some cracking entries, and the judging panel are looking forward to reviewing these. The initial shortlisting now takes place and one thing is for sure – if your organisation is shortlisted this year, you should be incredibly proud of what you have achieved.”
The European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards (ECCCSAs) are the largest and longest running awards in the customer contact industry. Highly regarded for its robust judging process, high calibre judges meet every shortlisted organisation face to face. ECCCSA judges are handpicked for their experience and knowledge. They are all industry experts who can recognise organisations that are leading the way in running customer contact operations.
“Winning an ECCCSA is a fabulous accolade,” said Ann-Marie. “The fact that we have seen a 50% increase in entries from across the continent means that those winning really can say that they are the best in Europe. There is no other awards programme that enables that honour.”
The judges are now deliberating a shortlist for each category. They will announce the organisations that are moving forward to the next stage on Wednesday 16 August, once all those shortlisted have been informed. Those organisations that make it through will then be invited to present to a panel of judges in London or host a site visit to their operation, depending on the award category.
