Tesco – Every little helps with announcement of 150 New Contact Centre Jobs
The Supermarket giant has announced the recruitment of `150 contact centre agents at their Baird Avenue, Dundee contact centre bring the total headcount to 1,150 staff.
Commenting on the retail giant’s announcement Lord Provost Bob Duncan said
“This announcement by Tesco is excellent news. Every job we can bring to this city is to be welcomed. Every single one helps. This also shows Tesco’s commitment to the city and that too is to be welcomed.”
Tesco commented that they would be recruiting staff with ‘great personalities’ and ‘the friendliest, warmest new colleagues” to their Dundee contact centre which accepts and processes 18 million interactions from customers per year predominantly relating to their Club Card Offering.
Jamie Hughes, Head of Contact Experience Operations, said: “No matter which part of Tesco you work in, giving customers great service is our number one priority.
“In our Dundee Customer Engagement Centre we offer great jobs and great careers.”
