ResQ to Create 400 New contact centre Jobs in Hull and Seaham Following Contract Wins

ResQ, the contact centre operator, has announced plans to create 400 new jobs by the end of this year following multiple contract wins in the energy, telecoms, and automotive sectors.

The fast-growing business, with a turnover of £38 million, is expanding its workforce at its Hull and Seaham, County Durham locations. The new roles will include positions for customer service administrators, team leaders, and operational support staff.

ResQ is committed to providing training and career development opportunities for the new employees, supporting their growth as part of the company’s ongoing expansion. This recruitment drive follows the previous year’s expansion of the Seaham facility, which added over 100 new roles.

Gill Marchbank, CEO of ResQ, said:

“This significant growth is a testament to the strong reputation we’ve built at ResQ for delivering outstanding customer service in sectors where teams must respond quickly and efficiently under pressure.

“It’s also a clear sign of confidence in our people and the quality of service we provide. With many of our partners, customers reach out during critical moments, and by combining human empathy with real-time insights from our AI platform, iQ, we’re able to help our teams respond appropriately and assist our clients in making more informed decisions.”

The new positions will help further strengthen ResQ’s commitment to high-quality customer support and expand its presence across key sectors.

ResQ is one of the country’s largest call centre operations, with several large contact-centre hubs across the UK, working with major brands in sectors such as telecoms, utilities, retail and financial services.
