Content Guru Extends European Dominance as It Increases Investment Across the Region

Content Guru, Europe’s leading cloud contact centre and customer experience (CX) provider, has announced it is opening a new development hub in Porto, Portugal, this summer as it continues to expand in the region. The extension comes as Content Guru supports a growing number of customers seeking to modernize their customer and citizen experiences across Europe and beyond.

Founded and headquartered in the UK, Content Guru has a strong global and European presence and the new location will become its fifth permanent location in the region, with additional offices in Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy and Scotland. Due to its origins, Content Guru complies with European data sovereignty requirements, across its operations in the EU and UK, including the particular requirements for Germany. A number of brands have selected Content Guru to comply with strict data sovereignty regulations due to requirements for their data to be both processed, stored and supported locally in the region.

Content Guru is uniquely positioned to deliver for both public and private sector organizations across Europe and the business supports a number of leading European brands including AXA, Interflora, UK Power Networks, KwikFit and the NHS. Content Guru is also the only Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) provider with UK blue light contracts. Content Guru’s storm solution is utilized by national and regional forces and healthcare providers that rely on the business’s dedicated Emergency Services Platform (ESP). Emergency service providers in the UK place their trust in storm due to its high reliability, scalability and its regional data protocols, which ensure all data is processed and stored in the UK.

Meeting global and location regulations is key for all organizations and storm users are safe in the knowledge they are compliant thanks to a wealth of international and regional accreditations. Specifically, European customers are covered by PCI DSS Version 3.2.1 Level 1, ISO 27001, SOC2 Type 2, ISO 22301, ISO 20000, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, as are users in the US and Japan. Within Europe, Content Guru has achieved Bundesnetzagentur, an accreditation that regulates the delivery of billing services within Germany and several accreditations related to UK Government services including Spark DPS and G-Cloud 13.
