Finalists of the UK National Contact Centre Awards 2022 announced as tickets for Awards Night at new venue go on sale
The Finalists for the UK National Contact Centre Awards 2022 have been revealed as tickets go on sale for the UK industry’s largest awards celebration. Following the growth of the awards in the recent years, the winners of the UKNCCAs will be announced at a stunning new venue, Old Billingsgate in Central London, on Monday 20 June 2022.
Leigh Hopwood, CEO at the CCMA, said,
“This year we’ve seen further growth in the awards programme, with nominations up by a further 9 per cent. The quality of the nominations has also increased. The judges have been really impressed by the story telling and detail that they’ve seen. Of course, this just makes their job harder,”
“I think it’s really fair to say that the competition is on. And for those that didn’t make the Finals, they should be really proud that they have been recognised for their achievements this year. All those that have gone through to the next round have achieved something amazing, and the judges can’t wait to hear more.”
Finalists include individuals and teams from organisations both large and small including Ascensos, ASOS, Cadent Gas, Eurotunnel, Leeds Building Society, McDonald’s, Monzo Bank, Nectar, Network Homes, Ocado, ResQ, Sage, Sky, Vodafone and Zen Internet.
Director of Awards, Jackie Pringle, explains,
“The judges will now interview all those finalists in Individual categories, and hear presentations from those in the Team or Organisation categories,”
“Organisations in the Contact Centre of the Year category and the new award looking for the Best Contact Centre Culture will be invited to welcome the judges into their operation. It’s the first time for two years we’ve been able to visit finalists in their workplace’
Head Judges, Sarah Williams, Divisional Head of Customer Experience and Digital at Westminster City Council, said,
“The competition is on and we are delighted to bring back some face-to-face judging where our handpicked judges will get the opportunity to visit the Finalists in person, in their operations,”
“This next phase in the process is really exciting, and critical to finding the best in the UK. We hope that every Finalist will consider the ten criteria when they share their stories – which they always do with such enthusiasm. Personally, I can’t wait to hear how our industry is advancing, and meeting people that share the same warmth for the work we do, as me. On behalf of all the judges, we wish every shortlisted individual, team and organisation the best of luck.”
The winners will be announced at the Awards Night on 20 June 2022. In recent years the awards have grown and as a result, the evening will take place at the fabulous Old Billingsgate. Set in the heart of the city of London, on the north bank of the River Thames, Old Billingsgate has become the new home of the UK National Contact Centre Awards. With its stunning views of Tower Bridge, City Hall, The Shard and London Bridge, guests can expect a fantastic night out.
Tim Pickard, CMO at Sabio, said,
“We can’t wait to celebrate the progress this industry has achieved in the last 12 months or so,”
“We know from our own conversations and observations that this industry has evolved at pace in recent years and there is a growing community of people that enjoy working in this space and are really passionate about the service that they provide to customers. Good luck to all the entrants, we look forward to seeing you at the Awards Night in June.”

The UK National Contact Centre Awards are now in their 27th year and recognise exceptional and inspirational individuals and teams in the industry who are role models and deserve recognition for the outstanding work they are doing in their contact centre operation. These awards are all about the people, amazing people who deserve to be rewarded.
Past winners have gone on to great things – many are now at senior management and board level, and some make up our panel of highly qualified independent judges.
The awards have an excellent reputation across the industry for being of a very high standard. All nominees go through a rigorous judging process, including personal face-to-face interviews, panel judging and site visits.
The award judges are people who work in the industry with an excellent reputation and track record. Judges are handpicked for their deep knowledge and experience in contact centre operations. Many have been judging on the programme for several years, and many have been through the process themselves as nominees. Judges are not from vendors or suppliers.
