Firstsource Solutions has announced that it has been accredited with Investors In People (IIP) Silver Standard for its UK operations.
The IIP accreditation applies to Firstsource’s seven UK delivery centres, as well as the company’s home-based workers – totalling over 3,500 staff across the UK. In awarding the Silver Standard, the IIP assessors reviewed Firstsource’s business strategy and how its employees underpin its delivery.
The IIP assessment report stated: ‘The focus is on putting people at the heart of how the organisation operates, ensuring that they in turn put the client at the heart of what they do.’
Laura Hourican, Firstsource’s UK Head of HR commented: “Silver IIP status is an outstanding achievement that recognises Firsource’s excellent practice in relation to investing in people and our commitment to continuous improvement. The assessors reviewed in depth our approach to training and development, reward and recognition, leadership and management and our people initiatives, commenting on their effectiveness and how they are creating a great place to work.
