Echo-U, the Newcastle based outsourcer, are looking to recruit 155 contact centre staff to cope with the company’s busy period leading up to Christmas.
During the lead up to Christmas, Echo-U expects to deal with 125,000 customer enquiries on behalf of their leading client DPD in its peak week, creating almost 100 percent uplift from pre-peak numbers.
The seasonal recruits will be responsible for managing customer enquiries over the phone, email, social media and web chats.
The flexible roles are ideal for students or parents looking to boost their income in the run up to Christmas or for anyone wanting to return to work as comprehensive training is provided by Echo-U’s customer service experts in a professional environment.
Diana Bourke, managing director at Echo-U, said:
“The festive period is certainly an exciting, but busy time at Echo-U. As we gear up for a surge in demand we are looking for individuals with an enthusiastic approach to customer service as well as good computer skills.
“With the opportunity to work across an inbound campaign for an award-winning courier, our seasonal roles are ideal for anyone looking for flexible hours or to make some extra money as they prepare for Christmas. We also provide a full training programme to ensure people are on track to provide outstanding customer service so experience isn’t essential. Our city centre base also means our recruits have access to great transport links in the heart of our bustling city centre and quayside.”
Echo-U’s contact centre vacancies are available from Tuesday October 23 until early January 2018.
