Contact Centre Awards – Final Call

north.east.contact-centres.awards.2015.1Contact Centre Awards – The final call has been made to contact centres across the North East to enter a prestigious industry awards.

Organisers of the North East Contact Centre Awards, which takes place each year, have issued the last call for businesses keen to be involved to submit their entries, with the closing date of September 28 fast approaching.

The awards, which will be presented at a glittering ceremony at Ramside Hall Hotel on Friday, November 20, recognise the shining lights of the industry, with a host of hotly contested categories including ‘Jewel in the Crown’ an award to recognise inspirational individuals who add real value to their contact centre, as well as overall titles for centres with over 250 seats, and the same for smaller businesses. Other awards include Inspirational Leader, Outstanding Contribution to Community, and Recruitment Champions.

The event, which is sponsored by Sage Plc, is organised by Sunderland Live on behalf of Sunderland City Council, and all award categories are open to businesses across the North East.

Councillor Paul Watson, leader of Sunderland City Council, said: “The region boasts an incredibly strong contact centre industry, and we believe that the talent, commitment and passion that exists among it is something to be celebrated.

“We are delighted to once again organize this year’s awards, and would like to encourage any businesses that haven’t put their hat in the ring to do so. The awards represent a fantastic opportunity for companies to pit their skills against other businesses and to benchmark and improve, so as well as being a great night for all finalists, it really is something that fosters best practice among the industry.”
