Capita plc has acquired Sheffield based contact centre specialist Voice Marketing Ltd (“Voice”), a contact centre business specialising in outbound sales and retention activity.
Voice was formed in 2006 by key shareholder and CEO James Hinchliffe. Sheffield-born James started work in the contact centre industry after graduating from the University of Leeds in 1999.
Having started with five staff, Voice now employs 500 people at two sites in the Broomhill and Woodseats areas of Sheffield and has clients from multiple sectors, including telecoms, retail and utilities. It will provide Capita with a highly developed sales and retention capability and will complement the customer care capability within Capita Customer Management.
