Jabra UK & Ireland Business Solutions enhances its Sales team with the appointment of a new Telco Business Development Manager, Kelly Dickson.
Jabra is delighted to welcome Kelly Dickson into the UK & Ireland Business Solutions team in the role of Telco Business Development Manager.
Kelly joins Jabra from Datech, the Computer aided design specialist division within Tech Data, where she spent the last four years of a seven years tenure managing the Media and Entertainment business, as Media & Entertainments Business Manager.
At Jabra Kelly will be responsible for managing all UK Telco’s and Carriers, excluding British Telecom. This role will also include the onboarding of new Telco partners as they start to grow their own Unified Communications business.
As a member of the Jabra Channel sales team Kelly will report into Robert Stockford, Channel Sales Director. Commenting on his new hire, Robert said “Kelly brings strong partner experience to the Jabra UK channel team. In previous roles she has excelled at building relationships with personnel of all levels within her partner base, in order to nurture and grow her accounts. These skills will be invaluable as she focuses on acquiring new partners as well as managing existing ones, in order to develop their share of the headset category and support our ambitious growth targets.”
Jabra UK&I Managing Director Nigel Dunn supports this view; “Kelly’s appointment has been predominately driven by the increased focus from Telco’s in selling Unified Communications solutions. UC is a heartland for us, where we already have dominance and bringing Kelly into the team will further enhance our proposition in this area.”
Kelly commenced her new role at Jabra on Monday 23rd February and has spent her first week in a series of induction and training sessions at Jabra UK & Ireland HQ in Egham, Surrey, as well as introduction meetings with authorised Jabra channel partners.
