Already a well-known and well respected figure in the UK contact centre industry, Ann-Marie Stagg of the Call Centre Management Association (UK) was recently elected President of the European Confederation of Contact Centre Organisations (ECCCO) at their Annual General Meeting in Paris.
Ann-Marie said; “The Confederation has established itself in Europe since its foundation in 2003 and I am delighted to be given the chance to lead it forward over the next period of its development. We now have members from individual national organisations in twenty one countries across Europe and they represent an industry of more than 35000 contact centres and nearly 3.4 million employees.”
Outgoing President; Vincent Vanden Bossche from Belgium, commented; “Having worked closely with the EU to introduce common standards, our next goal is to establish some truly Pan-European Awards as well as a first-class conference for our membership each year. Ann-Marie is just the person to make this happen for us.”
About ECCCO
ECCCO is a non-profit association that promotes the interests and needs of the European contact centre industry. Formed in 2003 to encourage and assist in the development of European National Contact Centre Associations. Bringing together all the European National Associations / Organisations; fostering free and frank information exchange on issues relating to Call Centre Services.
Major aims are:
• To promote the exchange of knowledge and information.
• Promote the profession and recognition of Contact Centre Management.
• Provide representation to Regulatory Bodies – Using our combined voice to influence the appropriate legislative bodies.
• Provide information and education to its members.

Ann-Marie Stagg is the Executive Director of the Call Centre Management Association in the UK and President of the European Confederation of Contact Centre Organisations (ECCCO). Already a multi award winning people manager Ann Marie was named “European Call Centre Industry Champion” in recognition of her work within the Industry.
Ann-Marie has 20 years of operational contact centre experience leading both sales and service operations for blue chip companies including the Automobile Association, Scottish Power, Brakes Group and the Co-operative Bank.
