Elizabeth Gooch, Founder and President of eg solutions, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Outstanding Contribution to Technology’ award at the Annual West Midlands Women of the Year Awards 2013.
Elizabeth pioneered the introduction of production management methodologies into the service sector and used these techniques developing a software product that delivers guaranteed improvements in customer service and cost reduction for clients. It is through her dedication to the development of this product and the creation of the Back Office Optimisation market that Elizabeth received the accolade.
Elizabeth commented: “To win the award while up against such inspiring women is a huge privilege. I feel honoured to have this recognition and it’s a credit also to my team who have worked with me to help my vision become a reality too.”
The award follows Elizabeth’s Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) last year in recognition of her achievements in delivering significant benefits for clients with the products she designed.
Elizabeth added: “The West Midland Women of the Year Awards celebrate outstanding women in the area who are making a difference to society, breaking boundaries and contributing to the economic well being of the region and it’s fantastic to recognised among such prominent women.”
