Enghouse Interactive Signs up Microsoft Skype for Business Voice Expert MeetingZone as New EMEA Partner
The new Partnership extends the reach of Enghouse Interactive’s contact centre applications, including flagship EI Communications Centre platform.
Enabling it to further strengthen its reach into the Skype for Business marketplace, Enghouse Interactive has signed MeetingZone, one of the UK’s leading Microsoft Skype for Business service providers, as an EMEA partner. MeetingZone will sell, market and deliver a broad range of Enghouse Interactive solutions, including the Company’s flagship contact centre and console solution, EI Communications Centre.
Steven Willert, CTO, MeetingZone explains:
“We were looking for a Skype for Business contact centre application that we could work with to service the needs of our customers and enable us to further differentiate our offering. I’ve known Enghouse Interactive for years and having worked with them before, was confident that the company fit the bill perfectly. Its contact centre and console applications are among the few credible solutions available today that can be delivered at scale and that have established a pedigree in the market.
“The relationship Enghouse has with Microsoft is significant,” continues Willert, “in particular, Microsoft’s validation and advocacy of them – and the two businesses combined should represent a compelling proposition for our partners and target customers.”
MeetingZone operates an indirect route to market, and joins forces with other Microsoft partners to deliver Skype for Business Voice services on their behalf. Applications have always been a key element of its strategy. In line with this, MeetingZone has taken the opportunity to expand its contact centre platform capability and meet customer needs that the core Skype for Business solution cannot do on its own.
Gary Bennett, Sales Director, Enghouse Interactive says:
“We are delighted to welcome MeetingZone onto our channel partner programme. The company has an in-depth understanding of the Skype for Business marketplace and as a Skype for Business service provider and applications aggregator they have a determination to get up to speed quickly on our contact centre solutions and rapidly become self-sufficient in selling and implementing them. This commitment has already been demonstrated by the significant investment they have made in ensuring their engineering and support staff are correctly certified.”
MeetingZone’s Willert adds: “Another reason why Enghouse Interactive is such a good fit for us is that we share an implementation and commercial philosophy that supports total customer choice without compromise. Regardless of whether a customer wants to deploy on-premise, in the cloud or hybrid; or perhaps start in their own co location and then migrate to the cloud, we can support it. They may have a preference for a capital purchase or subscription, which may change over time. Again, it’s important that we can support choice and flexibility, both for Skype for Business and complementary applications. That’s core to our customer proposition – and Enghouse Interactive has demonstrated it has the willingness and ability to support that approach.
“Moving ahead, we are looking forward to working with them and using their contact centre solutions to open up new voice opportunities for Skype for Business. Specifically we are looking to drive up our attach rate of applications and in turn increase our average deal size for every customer we on-board. This will allow both ourselves, our partners and Enghouse Interactive to tap into incremental revenue streams while customers will benefit from a more comprehensive high-quality solution set that they will struggle to match elsewhere.”
