VNG GT Connect Selects Vodafone storm to Improve Citizen Communications for 44 Municipalities Across The Netherlands
It has been announced that Vodafone storm has been selected by VNG GT Connect 2 to futureproof citizen communications as municipalities renew, expand or replace their telephony and communications environments. The large-scale project will see Content Guru, Vodafone Business and Pridis deliver increased flexibility, scalability and contact channels for local authorities across the Netherlands through the cloud-based Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) platform, Vodafone storm.
GT Connect 2 is a joint tender overseen by The Association of Dutch Municipalities (VNG), the advocacy organisation and knowledge platform for all Dutch municipalities, which has selected an omni-channel platform on behalf of 44 municipalities. The Vodafone storm solution allows citizens to contact municipalities in various ways, such as via social media, telephone, email or even an online chat. As a result citizens will benefit from increased flexibility, allowing them to choose the channel that best suits their needs and preferences.
