CX Specialist Supports Charity to Help Prevent Suicide

CX specialist supports charity to help prevent suicide amongst young people – Ventrica raises funds for Niall Stringer Foundation.

In the run-up to Christmas, Southend-based CX specialist Ventrica chose to raise funds for a charity very close to the hearts of their staff.

Over £4000 was raised for the Niall Stringer Foundation by Ventrica staff in the run-up to Christmas. Contributions we made to a huge raffle of prizes gifted to Ventrica by their customers.

Well-known names like Deckers, Krispy Kreme, Puig, Clarks, McCarthy Stone, and many others gave hampers, footwear, and wonderful gifts for this fundraising cause.

Ventrica staff gave generously not only by donating far more than the price of raffle tickets but also many staff rerouted the value of their own Christmas gift token from the company to the overall total.

The Niall Stringer Foundation was set up in memory of a beloved young Southend rugby player who took his own life shortly before his 18th birthday. Their sole mission is to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and well-being and give sports clubs, at all levels, across the UK the tools to allow them to contribute positively to the prevention of suicide in young people.

Niall’s elder brother Phil is a Service Delivery Manager in Ventrica.

Fundraising was organised by Ventrica Engagement leaders Clare Dominguez Dona and Kelly Flanagan.

On receiving the cheque, Phil Stringer Senior of the Niall Stringer Foundation said.

“The great work you have done will go towards saving lives, this will help immensely to put Mental Health First Aiders in every sports club. Thank you”



To lose a young life to suicide is one of the most heart breaking tragedies and something which can be prevented.
