Isher Capital acquires London Contact Centre Specialist Confero

Isher Capital acquires London contact centre specialist Confero – The acquisition adds specialist financial services capability to Isher’s UK outsourcing portfolio

Isher Capital has acquired London-based Confero Ltd through Liberate Ltd, expanding its contact centre capabilities for banks and other financial services businesses. The £5 million investment will support Confero’s growth and expansion plans, with turnover expected to reach around £3 million in 2026/27, compared with £1.695 million in the year to June 2026.

Confero provides outsourced customer service and engagement through inbound, outbound and digital channels. Its work spans call handling, customer support, specialist campaigns and dedicated project teams. Confero is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Its clients have included Pod Point, and its work across electric vehicle charging networks supports nearly one million drivers. It also established a crisis helpline for KPMG following a major UK retailer’s administration, assembling 40 agents over one weekend and handling 65,000 calls in the first two days.

Confero will retain its name, London operation and management team, with David Freedman continuing as a director. Isher plans to combine Confero’s specialist service with the resources, technology and operational capacity of its wider group, while preserving the personal approach valued by its clients.

Confero currently employs around 60 people. Under Isher’s ownership, the business has ambitions to grow to around 200 employees over the next 12–24 months.

Baneet Kaur, managing director at Isher Capital Liberate Ltd, said:

“Confero has built a strong reputation for supporting financial services clients whose customers expect knowledgeable, reliable service.”

“We see scope to grow that specialist business by investing in its people and giving it access to the wider group’s infrastructure and technology, while retaining the qualities that have made it successful.”

David Freedman, Director of Confero, said:

“Joining Isher gives us the resources to pursue the next stage of growth while keeping the Confero name, our London base and the team our clients know. It will allow us to develop our services and create more opportunities for our people without losing the close client relationships on which the business was built.”

Confero is the fifth acquisition in Isher’s current programme, following CC33, FM Outsource, AnsaCom and TCH.
