It has been reported that LateRooms are set to outsource part of its customer service operation to the Phillipines resulting in the potential loss of 80 jobs at the company’s Manchester contact centre.
A spokesperson for LateRooms, said:
“At the beginning of October we announced that we will be outsourcing part of our UK Contact Centre operations.
“A consultation process is currently ongoing and a number of those employees affected by the changes have now secured alternative roles within the business as part of a new structure which will create 28 positions, based in Manchester.”
