The Welsh Ambulance Service in north Wales have announced that their Emergency Call Handlers will more into a new state of the art contact centre in Spring 2025.
The new contact centre will enable the service to handle all of the emergency ambulance calls across North Wales
The service’s current contact centre, based in Llanfairfechan in Conwy, will close and relocate to the new contact centre in Ty Elwy in St Asaph where 111 response call handlers are resided.
We respond to more than 1800 emergency calls a day across the country.
Every year we take 679,000 calls for over 450,000 incidents in our three Clinical Contact Centres in Wales.
Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year our call takers will take the details of your 999 call and send an appropriate response.
