Azamara Cruises has announced a significant expansion of its UK operations, marked by the opening of a new headquarters, an enhanced call centre, and the relocation of several key global leadership roles to the region.

As part of this investment, the company will relocate its UK base from Weybridge to Woking, establishing a modern, contemporary office space designed to host onsite trade partner engagements and global meetings.
The expansion also includes the repositioning of key global roles to the UK. Julian Poston, director of port operations, and Wayne Fannon, corporate director of food and beverage operations, will now be based in the UK, reinforcing the market’s strategic importance.
In response to growing demand for bespoke group cruise experiences, Azamara has also created a new global role — a dedicated international groups lead — which will be based in the UK.
David Siewers, Chief International Sales Officer at Azamara Cruises, said:
“The UK market is absolutely fundamental to our global success. This is a market we’re continuously investing in, and our commitment has never been stronger. This underscores the pivotal role the UK hub plays in our worldwide strategy.
“In recent months, we’ve announced three educational Seminars at Sea and an exclusive Masterclass at Sea, established our Partner Advisory Panel, and strengthened our engagement with the UK trade community at every level. Today’s announcement is further demonstration of our determination to become more deeply embedded within the UK travel trade.”
This latest development reflects Azamara’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its presence in the UK while enhancing its ability to deliver exceptional experiences to customers and partners worldwide.
