Birmingham based company Chubb Fire Security have announced plans to relocate their contact centre, which employs 100 staff, from Birmingham to Leicester May 2015 effecting 100 staff .
A spokeswoman for Chubb Fire and Security said:
“On the 29th October 2014, Chubb Fire & Security announced proposals to relocate its Customer Service Centre from Birmingham to Leicester”
“The proposals are subject to the appropriate consultation, and no decisions will be made until the end of consultation. If, following consultation, the proposals do go ahead, then all the employees would be given the option of continuing their employment in Leicester, which would be the company’s preference”.
“Based on current proposals, it is anticipated that the Birmingham facility would remain in operation until May 2015″.
